We built this far infrared heater to be serious—400V, 2500W—so you get a lot of heat packed into a small space. The tube is just 300mm long, which means the energy goes right where you need it. You get heat fast, without having to warm up the whole machine bay. And because it runs on 400V, it fits industrial power setups, keeping the current draw sensible while still hitting your target temperature quickly.
The guts: halogen, quartz, and solid connections
Inside, a halogen element sits in a quartz tube, pumping out far-infrared that penetrates materials without blasting the surrounding air. The tube has a reflective coating that pushes more energy forward, so you waste less heat and get better efficiency. And the R7s connector? It’s a straight swap for what you already have. Wire it in and you’re done—no redesigning the fixture. It stays solid even when the shop floor vibrates and the temperature swings.
Where it shines—and what to keep in mind
This setup is made for tough, repeatable heating jobs: plastic forming, coating curing, component drying. You get rapid heat-up, steady output, and a footprint small enough to squeeze into tight spots. It’s a lot of power in a small package, so your machine’s cooling and thermal management have to match. But if you run it at the rated voltage, it’s a reliable drop-in heat source that keeps your throughput consistent.
