Let’s get real about this freestanding fireplace. We built it as a serious industrial heater, not some gentle home unit. It runs on 400V, and that’s the whole point. That voltage lets us pack a ton of power into a small space without tripping over standard 230V lines. Plus, because the current stays lower, you don’t have to wrestle with thick wires or worry about your contactors getting hammered. The 300mm tube? That length focuses all that heat into a tight zone. You get a concentrated blast of infrared—exactly what you need when you’re heating a specific spot on the line.
Material and Design
Inside, you’ve got a halogen-filled quartz tube. The halogen cycle keeps the filament clean, so the lamp stays bright and lasts longer. And quartz handles the shock of rapid on-off cycles way better than regular glass ever could. We went with an R7s connector, too. It’s a direct, solid-contact fit that handles the heat and the current without needing extra brackets or ceramic holders. Just a simple, tough connection—built for the kind of environment where equipment gets worked, not pampered.
Application and Field Reality
This setup was made for spot heating and process control—the moments when you need heat, fast, and in high density. The freestanding design means you can drop it straight into existing fixtures or pop it onto a portable stand. Now, here’s the honest part: at 400V and 2500W, this thing throws off a lot of ambient heat. So make sure your enclosure ventilation and thermal management are up to the task. It’s going to take a beating. But it’s built to keep running anyway.
