On the line, the furnace has to nail setpoint quickly and sit there, rock steady. Every minute you’re waiting on heat is a minute that turns into scrap, rework, and orders slipping. Energy use quietly eats margins, especially when heating modules bleed power to convection and slow ramp-up. We built our industrial heating approach to cut that waste out, and keep tempering, bending, lamination, and IG sealing moving at production pace.
Here’s what matters under the hood.
We run short-wave and medium-wave infrared with high-emissivity quartz elements, so the energy goes straight into the glass instead of heating air. That gives you faster ramp, tighter thermal uniformity, and less heat bleeding into the plant. The specs are matched to actual lines: 240V/480V configurations, compact modules that fit retrofits, and standardized mounting and connectors so you can drop them in without re-engineering the machine. Control is stable and repeatable, the kind you need to hold low optical distortion and keep bow and warp in check.
Why this plays in our world.
In tempering and bending, uniform heat distribution lowers thermal stress and cuts the risk of spontaneous breakage. In EVA/SGP/PVB lamination, fast, even heating chases out entrapments and gives you better adhesion without overshoot. For coating drying and IG sealant curing, precise temperature control shortens cycle time and reduces rejects. You save energy from quicker start-ups, lower standby losses, and fewer kWh per square meter. The payoff is fewer line stoppages, output that stays consistent, and a cooler floor with less radiated heat.
A few things to get right.
These modules are meant for direct replacement and straightforward integration, but alignment and emissivity compatibility matter. Match the heater geometry to the glass path, check your reflector setup, and make sure your control can handle the load profile. Commissioning is short if you plan it, and thermal shielding plus cooling needs attention to protect nearby components. You can run at lower line temperatures, but you have to tune dwell time to keep the cure complete and avoid haze.
