We built this room heater around a seriously tough halogen quartz tube. It’s the kind of heat you can count on in industrial spaces—where you need serious, pinpoint warmth without wasting energy heating the whole plant. Here’s the power behind it: 2500W at 400V. That means you get a lot of heat packed into a short length. The 300mm tube focuses all that energy into a small footprint, so you can warm up a specific spot fast. And because it runs on high voltage, the current stays lower for the same wattage. That helps cut down on voltage drop over the line and lets you use smaller wiring back in the panel. Halogen technology keeps the filament steady, even when things get seriously hot. That stability helps the lamp hold its output over time. The quartz envelope is coated, too—so it manages infrared and keeps glare down, while still pushing the heat where you need it. Then there’s the R7s connector. It’s a simple, two-pin, straight-in setup. Hooking it up is quick, and the contact stays solid, even in tight mounting spots. No wrestling with fragile end caps. Just plug it in and go. This whole design is made for the real world—right next to machines, where dust and vibration are part of the job. The compact 300mm length slips easily into crowded spots, and the R7s termination makes it a straightforward drop-in replacement. Just one thing to keep in mind: with 2500W packed into that tube, you need enough airflow and proper heat sinking around it. If you don’t manage the cooling, the surrounding parts will start to run hot.
