The core is a quartz envelope filled with halogen. The halogen keeps the filament stable, so output stays consistent over the life of the lamp. Quartz handles the shock of switching on and off quickly, and it transmits shortwave infrared the way we need—right where it matters—so you dry the surface without cooking the substrate. The reflective coating? It’s not for looks. It focuses infrared energy forward onto the printed area, so you’re not wasting heat sideways. That means better efficiency and less heat strain on nearby components. And the R7s base is just practical. It gives you a secure, two-point connection that’s easy to wire and easy to swap on the line. It drops straight into standard holders, so you don’t have to re-engineer your existing setup to make it work.
