That’s why we use heavy-duty relays or TRIAC dimmers. It’s all about handling that amperage without burning out the contacts. And because these live outdoors, we’re obsessed with the seals. We use PG-rated cable glands so that the signal wire from your hub doesn’t turn into a straw that lets rain leak into the electronics. It stays dry. Period.

If you’ve used a space heater, you know that annoying wait while the air slowly warms up. Infrared is different. It doesn’t bother with the air; it goes straight for you. The second your smart system triggers the “on” command, you feel it.Instantly. Plus, if you pair the heater with a Zigbee or Matter sensor, the house basically thinks for you. A Quick Warning on Power
Now, there is one catch. High-power heat draws a massive amount of electricity. If you try to fire up four 2000W heaters on one circuit at the exact same time, you’re going to trip your breaker. It’s a mess. To avoid that, we suggest a little trick in your smart logic: stagger the start times. Let the first heater kick in, wait a few seconds, then the next. Your fuses will thank you.
