Getting the thermal gradient right is everything. If you mess it up, you get internal stress in the glass, and then you’ve got a problem. Sure, one tube is easy. But as soon as you need a curved layout or multiple zones, the math gets annoying. You have to figure out the exact wattage per centimeter or risk ruining your work. We handle all that. We don’t just send you a bulb; we build the whole assembly—the curved supports, the wiring, the insulation, everything. It’s a drop-in replacement. You slide it into your setup and it just works. The tricky part: Heat vs. Air
Here is the thing about high-wattage shortwave IR lamps: they get your glass up to temperature fast, which is great. But all that power in a tight, curved module creates a lot of heat. If your airflow is blocked, those tubes will burn out. Fast. You’ve got to make sure your cooling fans can actually handle the heat buildup around the housing. If the housing gets too hot, your lamp life plummets. We spend a lot of time balancing the tube spacing so you hit that annealing point without creating hot spots that warp your workpiece.

Using a pre-bent module takes the guesswork out of the whole process. You can stop worrying about snapping fragile quartz tubes while trying to manhandle them into place. We take care of the electrical terminations and the mounting brackets. All you do is hook it up to your controller and start the cycle.
